The Titan grey paint although rather understated has some interesting hues to it, and gives the overall impression of a stormy sky or an agitated sea. 

It is of course in great condition, with very few almost unnoticeable dings. The panels line up perfectly and all the specific trim that comes with an Exclusive Edition is present and in good condition. 

As part of our process, the headlights have been refurbished, with new adjusters and lenses fitted (a tedious job, but well worth it).

The interior of E39s tend to age well, but this is way beyond that. The seats look like they have barely been sat in, with no cracks and almost no signs of wear. The colour of the wood trim is as deep as it would have been the day it left the factory with no cracks or hazing, indiacting this car was mostly garage kept. 

The multifunction sport steering wheel is an interesting option, not so commonly seen on the Exclusive Edition, though it is definitely original to this car. All the equipment from the heated seets, to the sunroof or the large multimedia display function perfectly. Even the ever so fragile kickplates are in pristine condition.

As always, the M54B25 proves to be a well suited engine for these cars providing ample performance with good fuel economy. 

As part of our maintenance schedule, this car has received a full service including sparkplugs and a new fuel filter. 

Some preventative work has also been done, including a major refresh of the cooling system, auxiliary belts, pulleys and replacement of the oil filter housing gasket and vanos lines. It is therefore now ready to go on for many years of just regular maintenance. 

Given the relatively low mileage of this example, the underside is also in great condition. The car rides and handles superbly, with no vibration or vagueness.
